To proceed with your permit application, it is essential to complete the official application provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and enclose a copy of a valid identification document issued by the State of New York such as a Driver's License, Non-Driver's Identification Card, or NYC Municipal Identification Card (IDNYC).
